Short term, Solution-Focused Mindfulness Skills
Unlike traditional therapy, CREATING RESILIENCE is an approach based on your strengths that offers short term, solution-focused counseling help restore balance in life. Margot Andersen, MSW, RYT works collaboratively with clients to find the techniques that resonate with your values and individual circumstances, customizing a toolkit of resilience skills that you can use throughout life.
During our initial meeting, we will work together to understand your current life stressors and decide which skills might be most appropriate for you based on your unique needs. Margot provides a safe space for you to explore and practice new ideas and strategies in a supportive and nurturing environment. When appropriate, we can use guided relaxation, gentle stretching and yoga to assist in your healing.
The culmination of CREATING RESILIENCE is to develop a skills based action plan to get through your current crisis and live a more resilient life in the future.
